Approval of Timesheets
Depending on your organisation’s policy, your Administrator may have pre-defined a timesheet approver or you may need to enter one manually by typing their email address in the “Approver Email” field.
Once you have completed your timesheet, press “Send For Approval”. The status will change the Approval Status to “Awaiting Approval”, the email address of the Approver and the date/time sent will be shown.
An email will be sent to your Approver showing the time you have booked.
- If the Approver accepts the timesheet the status will change to “Approved”.
- If the Approver rejects the timesheet the status will change to “Declined” and you will receive an email requesting a resubmission.
Note: If you find that your Approver is on holiday, it is possible to send the timesheet to a second Approver – if one has been defined, or manually enter the Approver email.
