Utilisation
The Admin > Utilisation page allows an Admin to create a Rate Card. Rate Cards are assigned to Persons, and detail their holiday, work patterns, non-billable tasks and their utilisation for a date range (specified on the Person > Utilisation subtab).
To add a Rate Card, click the Add Utilisation Card icon in the tool ribbon, which will present a Rate Card template.
While only the name of the Rule Card is the only essential field on the rule card to fill in, the other sections should be addressed, the Statutory Holidays section allows you to set the holiday for a rule card using a holiday card (requires a Holiday Card to be created from the Admin > Statutory holidays page). The work pattern defines how a work week is defined for a relevant person, this defaults to 1 work day during each weekday. The Sanctioned Non-billable tasks sections allowing the adding Task Tags to the Rule card (note a rule card must have first been created before task tags can be added). The Utilisation Options section enables the default rate for the rule card, which after assigning to a person, can be overwritten by going to the Person > Utilisation sub tab.
