Tax Types
The Admin > Tax types page allows an Admin to define their own custom tax types. Custom tax types can be used on Person > Expenses page to add expenses against custom tax types.
To add a Custom Tax type, click the Add Tax type icon in the tool ribbon. Enter tax type name, tax rate, tax type description, start date, and end date. Remember to save any changes made before navigating away from the page.
The start and end dates enforce restrictions upon when a tax type can be associated with an expense on the Expenses page. If the date of the expenses line does not fit within the start and end date bounds of a tax type, it cannot be selected.
