Schedule Variance

The Schedule Variance is a field found on the Governance > Delivery Status page, it uses a plan’s ‘Planned Start’ date, ‘Merged Date’ (the plan’s Revised End, or if that is not provided, then Planned End) and the Merged Date of the latest milestone on the plan. These fields are used in the following equation to obtain the Schedule Variance:

Number of days between Planned Start and Latest Milestone
