Project

A Project is a non-recurring, temporary endeavour undertaken to achieve particular objectives (e.g. automate stock replenishment) with particular outcomes (e.g. minimise warehouse inventory). A Project is the lowest level of the WBS planning hierarchy. Projects may be independent (i.e. not attached to a Programme or may be attached to a Programme which in turn may be attached to a BCP.

Project Name

Project Names must be unique within parent (i.e. unique Project Name within Programme.) The Project Name (if it is an Independent Project at the top of its WBS hierarchy) must also be unique within all Portfolios which it is a member.

Project Owner

The Project Owner is the Owner/Manager name in the Details page of a Project Plan in the header line of all pages in that Plan.
