Plan Delivery Status

The Delivery Status of a Plan is expressed as White, Grey, Green, Amber, Red, Blue or Black. By default, each workflow status has its own unique colour. However, admin may decide to allow any of the workflow statuses to mimic the colour of the Active Workflow Status (i.e. Red/Amber/Green/White).

The default colourings are as follows:

  • White means that the Plan has a Workflow Status of Proposed, or the plan is in a RAG-able workflow status but does not have any factors set on the Plan > Governance > Delivery Status screen.
  • Grey means that the Plan has a Workflow Status of Approved.
  • Green means that the Plan has a Workflow Status of Active (or, depending on admin configuration options, any of the other workflow statuses) and that the delivery status is ‘OK, within acceptable tolerances’.
  • Amber means that the Plan has a Workflow Status of Active (or, depending on admin configuration options, any of the other workflow statuses) and that the delivery status is ‘Warning, outside acceptable tolerances and corrective action may be required’.
  • Red means that the Plan has a Workflow Status of Active (or, depending on admin configuration options, any of the other workflow statuses) and that the delivery status is, ‘Alert, outside acceptable tolerances and corrective action is required now’.
  • Blue means that the Plan has a Workflow Status of Live (i.e. the Plan’s end-product/service/system is delivered/live) and further action is required’ (viz. realizing the promised business benefits). Thus the essential meaning of ‘Blue’ is that the clock is ticking on realizing the promised business benefits.
  • Black means that the Plan has a Workflow Status of Terminated and no further action is required’.
