Outcome-Driven Project Management (ODPM)

Outcome-Driven Project Management (ODPM) is an approach to Portfolio and Project Management (PPM) based on one overriding goal: achieving the best outcome from project investments.

ODPM is a ‘lean’ approach to PPM practices designed to drive out the best behaviours, best decisions and best methods of working (in terms of achieving the best project outcomes). In commercial business organisations the key desired project outcome is usually generically expressed as affordably maximising business value.
