Issue Status

An Issue may have an Issue Status of Open or Closed or Accepted or Deleted. The default is Open.

  • Open means 'the Issue is outstanding and needs action to resolve or mitigate it'
  • Closed means 'the Issue has been satisfactorily resolved or mitigated and no further action is required'
  • Accepted means 'the Issue is outstanding but the cost in terms of money and/or time to resolve or mitigate it outweigh the perceived Impact, so no further action is required'
  • Deleted means 'the Issue was raised in error or has been replaced by another Issue'. Such Issues do not disappear from the Plan
