Row Display and Ordering in PM3

Standard Summary Task Order

• When the page is refreshed, Summary Tasks, Milestones, and Tasks are shown in the Standard Summary Task Order.

• This is the default order in which the items were originally added.

Reordering Rows

• You can reorder rows using drag and drop.

• This changes the Standard Summary Task Order, and the new order is saved — it will persist after a page refresh.

Temporary Sorting

• You can temporarily sort rows by clicking on any column header:

  • Sorts the column in ascending or descending order.

  • Does not change the Standard Summary Task Order.

  • On page refresh, the display will return to Standard Summary Task Order.

Limitations During Temporary Sort

When a temporary sort is applied, the following functionality is not available:

Summary Task Features Disabled:

• Adding new Summary Tasks, Milestones, or Tasks.

• Drag-and-drop row reordering.

Other Disabled Features:

• Expand/Collapse Summary Tasks.

• Indent/Outdent rows.

Resetting to Standard Order

To return to the original order:

• Click the ‘Revert to Standard Summary Task Order’ icon.

• This will:

  • Reset the display to the saved Standard Summary Task Order.

  • Re-enable all summary task-related features.
