Change Risk

  1. Select the Risks and Issues sub-tab under the RAIDD tab.
  2. Ensure either Split View or Risks only is selected (radio buttons on top left of screen).
  3. Double-click on the Risk to open it.

  4. Enter the Risk Description.
  5. Optionally enter a description of the Residual Impact of the Risk on the Plan.
  6. Optionally select from the dropdowns a Type and Category.
  7. Enter Risk Raised by. If person is not in the drop down box, click add person to add a new person to the plan.
  8. Select from the dropdown a Residual Severity assessment.
  9. Select from the dropdown a Residual Likelihood assessment.
  10. Select from the dropdown a Date Raised.
  11. Select from the dropdown a Risk Status.
  12. Select ‘Show/Hide Advanced Options'.
  13. Optionally enter a description of the Risk’s Avoidance/Mitigation Action.
  14. Optionally enter an Escalation description.
  15. Optionally select from the dropdown the Risk Owner name. If person is not in the drop down box, click add person to add a new person to the plan.
  16. Optionally enter a By When date for the Action.
  17. Optionally enter a Date Closed for the Action.
  18. Optionally override the Calculated Action Delivery Status.
  19. Click Save.

NB: Residual means ‘after the mitigation actions performed so far’, not ‘even if all the mitigation actions are performed’; so initially Inherent = Residual. But as mitigation actions progress the Residual Severity/Impact reduces. NB: Inherent Severity/Likelihood can only be amended if the Plan’s Workflow Status is Proposed or Approved.

NB: If some of the fields described above are not displayed, your Administrator may have selected a different risk matrix without some of the fields above.
