Add Plan Details

Open Project, Programme or BCP that you wish to add details to.

  1. Select the Details page under the Definition tab of the Plan, optionally enter Your Ref.
  2. Optionally enter Sponsor Name.
  3. Optionally enter Requested By.
  4. Optionally enter Business Sponsor.
  5. Optionally enter Plan Manager.
  6. Optionally select values from the custom fields.
  7. Optionally use Add Plan to Portfolio to add this Plan to one or more Portfolios.
  8. Optionally use Attach Programme to BCP or Attach Project to Programme to attach this Plan to a parent Plan.
  9. Optionally select a Published Status.
  10. Optionally select a Workflow Status. Note that when you first select a Workflow Status you must enter a date for when the Plan entered that status.
  11. Optionally enter Plan Dates.
  12. Optionally enter a Plan Version number.
  13. Select either Discretionary or Non-Discretionary according as this is either a Discretionary Plan or mandatory.
  14. If appropriate, select “Link to PM3Time”, which will open a dialogue box allowing you to link to an existing PM3Time project, or create a new PM3Time Project based on a template project. A blank template project is always available in case you have no template Projects in PM3Time.
  15. If appropriate, enter/select a Site for integration with the Sites.

           

All the fields will be saved automatically.

Note that the Planned Start and Planned End dates are locked when a Plan moves to Active Workflow Status.

To add dates to the workflow status diamonds, click ‘show dates’ on top right of your screen.
