Add Plan Description

Open the plan and then:

  1. Select the Description page under the Definition tab of the Plan.
  2. Optionally enter Plan Description.
  3. Optionally enter Key Objectives of the Plan.
  4. Optionally enter the Impact of Non-Implementation. This is the impact on the business of this Plan not being approved.
  5. Optionally enter the Plan’s Scope i.e. its business, functional and technical boundaries.
  6. Optionally enter the Plan’s Key (End User) Deliverables. These are the systems, services or products to be delivered to the customer of the Plan.
  7. Optionally enter the Key Influences & Dependencies. These are the internal/external factors that will affect the successful delivery of the Plan’s Key (End User) Deliverables.

All the fields will be saved automatically.

Note: Some of these fields may have different names if your Administrator has changed the title of these fields during configuration.  

There is a limit on these fields as a full PID or Project Charter is meant to be added to the plan as an attachment. The description page is meant to be a high-level summary of the project charter or PID.
