Plan Fields
The plan fields section allows the Administrator to show or hide certain fields on the Plan screen. Under Plan details there are three fields that you are able to toggle to Yes/No, Published status, Discretionary controls, and Date Created. The former two are both legacy fields. They denote whether or not a plan is private or discretionary. The latter is a documentary field that states the date the plan was created.
Under the Delivery Status section there is an option for Management Escalation, this is an optional description field on the Delivery Status screen. The “Allow PMs to edit historic records” option defines whether or not project managers are allowed to edit historic periods, up to as far back as the “Allow changes up to X days left of redline” setting defined later on.
The Overall Delivery Status RAG algorithm defines the calculation used to determine the overall RAG light on the Delivery Status screen (and by extension, the delivery status light of the plan itself). When set to percentage mode, two fields will appear asking you to input percentage thresholds for Red-valued and Amber-valued statuses, respectively. When set to count mode, two fields will appear asking you to define count-based thresholds for Red-valued and Amber-valued statuses, respectively. Under Impact Assessment there is a single option, “Use simplified Impact Assessment”. This option determines whether or not extra fields are displayed on the Impact Assessment screen a value of “No” here means don’t hide the extra fields, and a value of “Yes” means hide the extra fields).
