Partition Management

  1. A new partition can be created via the icon in the tool ribbon Admin > Partitions > Partition Management. All that is required is a name and a description. The system then creates a new Portfolio in that new partition, and also adds the creating Admin as a member. Any person can be a member of 1 or more partitions, with a person’s access being controlled via the menu Admin > Partitions > Partition Access.
  2. When a partition is created, one portfolio is automatically created in that partition. It is named after the partition, and is under the Organisation Root portfolio.
  3. You cannot move portfolios between partitions.
  4. Partitions are typically different organisations with different Governance. As such they require different approvers for Gateway and IA. Reviewer email is held by the partition which can be managed inside the Partition management screen.
