  1. Access to a partition can be given to a user in multiple ways:
    1. Clicking on the Add Person icon in the tool ribbon (note a row within the desired partition must first be selected)
    2. Right clicking on a partition header, or a row in the desired partition, and choosing ‘Add person’.
    3. If a user exists in another partition, selected their row, right-click in another partition and choose ‘Copy selected person(s) to here’ (supports multi-select)
    4. Right clicking a person, then choosing ‘Add person to partition’, will display a popup where you can select a partition for the users to be added to.
  2. Note that when a user is added to a Partition, they automatically get a separate Personal Portfolio in that partition.
  3. Access to a partition can be removed by right clicking a person’s row within a partition and choosing ‘Remove person(s)’ (supports multi-select)
  4. Whilst a person can be in multiple partitions, always one partition must be a user’s default (this is so when they log in, the system knows which partition they will be loaded into). A user’s default partition can be swapped by clicking in an empty on a user’s row, that is in the desired partition.
  5. The Partition dropdown contains a list of all Partitions that have been setup, selecting one of these will filter the table to show only users that currently have access to that partition.
  6. To help search for a particular user, you can use the search box in the top right of the table, this will display all the users that match your search, and display which partitions they exist, making it easier to manage their access.
  7. An Admin may remove his own access from a given partition. In this case, he won’t be able to give himself access again. Another Admin or BestOutcome will have to do that. This is one way to set up secure It is also possible for Customers to request BestOutcome to setup and manage Secure partitions for them.
