This section allows the Administrator to define the granularity of updates made to the Delivery status, Financial Status and Resource status screens. This frequency determines how often data is stored and refreshed for each screen. Once stored, it becomes “historical” data, and can be viewed by selecting the Period End dropdown and choosing the end date of the period you wish to view. Reporting data will always be based on the current time period.
The ‘Auto commit delivery status at period end’ toggles whether the RAG statuses for a plan will be committed automatically at the defined period for all plans, or whether committing can only occur manually by clicking the commit button on the Governance > Delivery Status page of each plan.
The ‘Prefer governance delivery status period end in reports (Where available)’ toggles whether the Period End date shown in certain reports is defined based of the dates from the Admin > Period Definition section, or from the Governance > Delivery Status page.
