Benefit Definitions

This menu is split into two main areas, Global Benefits and Custom Benefits Column (areas can be viewed by toggling the radio button). Global Benefits are system-wide benefits pre-defined that can be imported into any project. This page allows the Administrator to enable, create, disable, delete or edit benefits. The % RAG Boundary field denotes the X% above or below your benefit criteria before the benefit is flagged as Red, anything in between your criteria and the % RAG Boundary will be Amber. The RAG boundary direction has two options, above or below. Some practical example of how this would work is shown below:

The CIP Default Global Benefit dropdown decides which enabled global benefit is used for reporting against on the plan CIP reports. This affects all Benefit related tables and charts on those reports. The second area is Custom Benefits column, where the Administrator can pre-define columns that are then available on the Plan Benefit definition screen. Here the Administrator can create new columns, edit or delete existing columns or increase/decrease the column priority.
